Trail Mix Porridge

  • Instant Pot Multi Pressure Cooker


  • 80 g steel cut oats
  • 375 ml Water
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 250 ml Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice from 1 large orange
  • 1 tbsp dried cranberries
  • 1 tbsp raisins
  • 1 tbsp chopped dried apricots
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp chopped pecans
  • pinch of salt


  • Add all ingredients to the Instant Pot and stir to combine. Lock lid.
  • Select Pressure Cook (or Porridge/Oatmeal) and set the time for 10 minutes.
  • When the cooking program finishes, allow the pressure to release naturally for 5 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  • Stir the porridge and spoon the cooked oats into two bowls. Serve warm.
