Wash the Inner Cooking Pot with hot water and soap, dry thoroughly. Wipe the heating element inside the cooker base and the inside of the Duo Lid to remove any stray packaging particles.
The condensation collector sits at the back of the cooker base and accumulates overflow moisture. It should be installed before cooking, then emptied and rinsed out after each use.
- To remove, pull the condensation collector away from the cooker base; do not pull down.
- To install, align the grooves on the condensation collector with the tabs on the back of the cooker base and slide the condensation collector into place.
- Place the inner pot in the Cooker base and fill the inner pot with 750 mL of water.
- Plug in the power lead and switch on.
- Close and Lock the lid.
- Turn the steam release handle to the Sealing position.
- Select Pressure Cook.
- Use the – / + buttons to adjust the cooking time to 5 minutes. NOTE: The multi-cooker beeps after 10 seconds and the display shows On.
- Press Keep Warm to turn the automatic Keep Warm setting off. Move the steam release handle to the Venting position.
- When the Smart Programme is complete, the display shows End. Wait for the float valve to drop, then open and remove the lid. (Fig 3)
- The inner pot will be hot. Using proper hand protection, remove it from the multi-cooker base and discard the water. Now you’re ready to cook a meal in your Duo!
