Crispy Garlic Chickpeas

Ingredients
  

  • 400 g can chickpeas
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Drain and rinse the chickpeas and dry thoroughly with a kitchen towel.
  • Spread chickpeas evenly on a small cooking tray and place inside the Vortex Air Fryer.
  • Select AIRFRY, then adjust the temperature to 200°C and the time to 17 minutes, then touch START.
  • When the display indicates “Add Food” remove the chickpeas, toss with olive oil and return to the cooking chamber.
  • When the display indicates “Turn Food” stir the chickpeas.
  • Watch the chickpeas in the last 2 minutes of cooking and stop the program when the chickpeas are a deep golden colour and crispy.
  • Combine the herbs and once the chickpeas are ready toss them in the seasoning to cover.
  • Serve hot or cold.
